I want to assume you already know what blogging entails so I won't go into details explaining it.
Blogging isn't as difficult as it may seem if you follow the right steps. Thanks to established channels like WordPress and blogger, you can have one up and running within minutes.
Firstly, you need to decide on what to blog about. Am referring to your interest and importantly, the interest of your intended followers, visitors or readers. You can decide to blog on almost everything if you choose to, but a blogger on a particular field tends to be more consistent and indept on information.
Secondly, you need to pick a platform, choose a host and get a domain. This is the point where WordPress, blogger and their likes come into play. Deciding to get hosted by any of these already made platforms saves you time and the hard work of building or designing your blog from the scratch. It involves a lot of coding which can be difficult if you lack the skills. Blogger by google will give you an already designed themes to choose from after which you can edit or rearrange the sections as you want. Before or after then is when you pick a domain name. A name unique to what you want. Am not certain but I think WordPress offers such services. On the other hand, a simple search on the internet will give you results on different host companies which you can subscribe and purchase a domain name for a specific time period at a given price. You can then transfer your domain name to blogger or WordPress to be used as the address of your blog.
Note: You can decide to skip subscribing for domain from any host as blogger will automatically give you a custom subdomain which is usually yourname.blogspot.com.
Now you have both your address and platform. You can then begin the final step of publishing contents.
Blogging as you might already know is a good way of earning online as long as you're able to drive traffic to your blog. They are various ways you can monetize your blog. Google blogger runs a reward program called Adsense. The program delivers adds on your blog for intended visitors. You get paid whenever there's a view, click and others on the ads. But they are certain requirements which has to be met before you can enroll for the program. Some of the requirements are number of published contents by you, external contents generated which are usually comments by visitors, number of traffic drawn to the blog, e.t.c. You can visit AdSense for more information.
