The animal that breathes out of its butt is the Australian lungfish. The Australian lungfish has a pair of lungs that it uses to breathe air, as well as a pair of gills that it uses to breathe underwater.

Some the animals that breathe out through their butts include: sea cucumber, insect like beetles and cockroaches, some species of fish like the loaches and catfish, certain types of tadpoles,  Australian filtzroy River turtle among others.
