The US dramatist Arthur Miller was once married to Marylin Monroe, and he wrote the plays "Death Of A Salesman" and "The Crucible". Miller was a prominent figure in the American theater scene and was a major influence on the development of modern American drama. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1949 for his play "Death of a Salesman", and he was awarded the Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theater in 1986.
