The last prophet in Islam is Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. He was born in 570 CE in Mecca, Arabia. He received the first revelation from Allah (God) through the angel Gabriel when he was 40 years old, and from that moment on he spent the rest of his life conveying the message of Islam to the people of Arabia and beyond. Prophet Muhammad is considered the last prophet because the Quran, which is the final revelation from Allah, was revealed to him and he is the seal of the prophets and messengers. Muslims regard him as the greatest of all the prophets and follow his teachings as a way of life.
