According to Greek mythology, the first woman on earth was Pandora. She was created by Zeus, the king of the gods, as a punishment for Prometheus stealing fire from the gods and giving it to humans. Pandora was given a box as a wedding gift, which contained all the evils of the world. When she opened the box, these evils were released and spread across the earth. However, the box also contained hope, which gave humanity the strength to endure the hardships of life.
