I have seen some men brutally beat up their wives. This act is mostly done by the illiterate ones because they don't know how to control their emotions.

They just make a habit for it and keep abusing their wives.

I don't really enjoy looking at some men beat their wives. That is simply wickedness of the highest order. I mean no matter what she did, she doesn't deserve to be beaten.

I think there should be a law in place against wife battery I don't get why one should beat up his own wife that's ridiculous.

There could be many reasons why some man still beat their wives. It could be because they are lazy or because they are feeling overwhelmed. It could also be that the man is feeling anger or frustration from some past event or situation. Alternatively, it could be that the man may be ashamed of what they have done or they feel that they have done something wrong.

In developed Countries this act is considered as abuse and punishable by law. Like you rightly pointed these act is prevalent in undeveloped countries where people have little or no knowledge of human rights.

There are some men who have insecurities with their wives like if their wife is more successful than them in most aspects of life. Some men are jealous of other people that their wife is dealing with especially those who are uncivilized ones that they don't know how to cope with their wife's success in life.

Domestic violence is a complex issue with various factors that contribute to it. While there is no single reason why some men beat their wives, some common contributing factors may include:

Learned Behavior: Men who have grown up in families or environments where violence was normalized may see it as an acceptable way to resolve conflicts.

Psychological Factors: Men with low self-esteem, insecurity, and anger management issues may resort to violence as a way to exert power and control over their partners.

Substance Abuse: Men who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol may act impulsively and become violent towards their partners.

Societal and Cultural Factors: Societal and cultural norms that promote patriarchy and gender inequality can contribute to the perpetration of domestic violence.

It's important to note that domestic violence is never the fault of the victim, and it's never acceptable or justifiable. Anyone who is experiencing domestic violence should seek help from a trusted friend, family member, or professional organization.

if a man is hot tempered and he has a lousy lady as a wife obviously beating won't stop, because they are not compatible and are not able to manage their imperfections.

The effects of alcohol is also another great cause of men beating their wives because if a man is drunk he is off his senses and any little wrong by his wife could trigger his anger to lay his hands on her,.
