The H.J. Heinz Company, commonly known as Heinz, was established in 1869. It was founded by Henry J. Heinz in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh. The company started by selling horseradish, and later on, it became famous for its ketchup, which is now one of the most popular condiments in the world.
