Mexico created the hot sauce.

Mexico-style sauces are primarily produced in Mexico but they are also produced internationally.

Essentially, the ancient people of Central America and Mexico invented the condiment we know of today as hot sauce.

Hot sauce is believed to have originated in Mexico, where the use of chili peppers dates back thousands of years. However, many countries around the world have since developed their own varieties of hot sauce, including the United States, Thailand, and India. Therefore, it is difficult to attribute the creation of hot sauce to one specific country. Different types of hot sauce are made and enjoyed in various regions and cultures around the globe, making it a truly international condiment.

The country responsible for creating hot sauce is Mexico. The Aztecs, who lived in what is now Mexico, were the first people to use chili peppers as a condiment. They would grind the peppers up and mix them with water, herbs, and spices to create a sauce that they called "chili sauce." Chili sauce was used to flavor food, as well as for medicinal purposes.
