Go is a board game that originated in China more than 2,500 years ago.
Go is a two-player strategy board game in which the players take turns placing black and white stones on a board, with the goal of surrounding more territory than the opponent. It is believed to have originated in China during the Zhou dynasty (1046–256 BC). The game is still popular in East Asia, and is also popular in Europe and North America.
