In 2019, astronomers discovered 20 new moons orbiting around the planet Saturn, which is the sixth planet from the Sun in our solar system. These newly discovered moons bring the total number of Saturn's moons to 82, making it the planet with the most number of moons in our solar system. The discovery was made using the Subaru telescope located in Hawaii and the moons were first observed in the month of July 2019. The discovery of these new moons is important for understanding the formation and evolution of the Saturn's moon system.
