In Greek mythology, the creature with the head of a bull and the body of a man is the Minotaur. The Minotaur was the offspring of the Cretan Queen Pasiphae and a white bull sent by the god Poseidon. The Minotaur was said to live in the Labyrinth of Knossos, where it was ultimately killed by the Greek hero Theseus.
