Storm Thorgerson, a British graphic designer and music video director, was born in Potters Bar, England on February 28, 1944.

Thorgerson is best known for his work with the rock band Pink Floyd, for whom he designed many of their iconic album covers. He also worked with other artists such as Led Zeppelin, The Alan Parsons Project, Peter Gabriel, The Cranberries, Genesis, Black Sabbath, and many more. He was the co-founder of the design group Hipgnosis, and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2011 Brit Awards.

Storm Thorgerson was born in Potters Bar, England. He grew up in Cambridge and attended Summerhill School in Suffolk. Thorgerson later studied at the Royal College of Art in London.
