Antarctica is the continent that does not have any rivers. Known as the coldest and driest continent, Antarctica is covered in a thick ice sheet, with minimal precipitation in the form of snowfall. The extreme temperatures and frozen landscape make it inhospitable for rivers to form. Instead, Antarctica's water exists mainly in the form of ice, such as glaciers and ice shelves. Although there may be small streams or meltwater channels during the brief summer season, they do not qualify as significant rivers. Therefore, Antarctica stands as the only continent devoid of permanent rivers.
