Dogs sweat through which part of their body?

Dogs do not have sweat glands all over their body like humans do. They mainly sweat through their paw pads. Dogs also regulate their body temperature through panting.

Dogs do not sweat through their skin like humans do. Instead, they primarily regulate their body temperature through panting, which helps to evaporate moisture from their lungs and nasal passages. However, dogs do have sweat glands located on their paw pads, which help to keep their paws moist and provide some cooling through evaporation. This is why dogs may leave damp footprints on the ground on a hot day. However, this method of cooling is much less efficient than sweating through the skin, which is why dogs are more susceptible to heat stroke and other heat-related illnesses than humans.
