Who else has experience with the use of parenteral amino acids in order to adapt nutrition to a generous amount of protein? I was thinking about starting a "therapy" soon and would like to hear about your experiences first! Thanks in advance!

I have experience with parenteral amino acids for several reasons. I have a genetic condition that prevents me from absorbing protein well from food. I also have a kidney transplant and was taking medications that required me to take a lot of amino acids. Parenteral amino acids helped me to better absorb protein and to keep my muscles and organs healthy.

The experience of anyone using parenteral amino acids for nutrition may vary. However, some experienced athletes have found that parenteral amino acids can help improve protein intake while providing other benefits such as increasing energy production. Finally, many experienced people find that the parenteral amino acids help to combat or beforeically store protein in the body.
