A bird is a warm-blooded vertebrate animal that belongs to the class Aves. Birds are characterized by their feathers, beaks, wings, and ability to fly (although not all birds can fly). They also have lightweight skeletons, which aid in flight, and lay hard-shelled eggs.

Birds come in a remarkable variety of sizes, colors, and adaptations. They can be found in nearly every corner of the globe, from the frozen arctic regions to the lush rainforests. Birds are known for their ability to communicate through songs and calls, and some species are known for their impressive migratory patterns.
