There are lots of options on how can we manage our social media, especially if we are being addicted to it. Primarily we need to focus on reality. Others are being forgetful that there is a true world. They are being preoccupied with what they have seen from it. Be selective on what we are viewing, we are not obliged to answer and attend to all the questions on social media. You may try to turn off notifications so you can't be distracted. You are the owner of yourself, you can set your own limitations and do other activities, so you may skip from just navigating. Always connect with the physical world. Try to balance your time. Lastly, accept the fact that the real awesome world has a lot to bring the best in you.

When we focus on the benefit, advantages or disadvantage or things, it can discourage or encourage us to continue on that path. My advice is focus on the disadvantages this has caused you for example making you spend valuable time just to chat and go through pictures. When that gets into your mind, then the action will follow. Try and be conscious of your time, plan your day and exclude all form of social media, including facebook.

The best way out is to uninstall the Facebook app from your phone. That way, it will be easier to stop the addiction. Also, ypu can keep yourself busy with other thing and spend only less time on Facebook and with time, the addiction will reduce.

By reducing the spending time, you can overcome it. Slowly reducing the spending hours. Try to engage with work always. Go outside with friends.

As for me, I am not addicted to this social network for a long time now. There is so much fake news posted and some people use it for personal agendas. I prefer to be on Answeree and other earning sites than being on Facebook. At least, I can be more productive and earn some extra pennies.
