At times maybe because if the weather if it is too hot and the sun or dry wind hits your lips that is why it makes it drier. Make sure you use lip balm most of the time to keep your lips smooth. You can also use the vaseline cream which is good for the lips and skin to make it smooth and soft.

Vitamin B deficiency may be the cause. It can be also due to dehydration. It can be due to dry climate or sun exposure. Apply lip balm or aloe vera gel.

Causes of chapped lips. Dehydration - When your body is dehydrated, your lips are more prone to dryness. Drink about eight glasses of water per day to stay properly hydrated. Malnutrition - Improper diet and nutrient deficiencies can make skin and lips drier than usual.

It can be related to the cold weather, which it happens during the rainy season in tropical countries, or even during the winter season in countries with four seasons.

There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on the particular case. Some potential reasons for crack development may include:

-Lips may get dry and thin due to lack of water flow

-The skin may have become thin and susceptible to cracks due to inadequate hydration

-The water content in the salads or drinks may have been too low or too high

It can vary depending on the individual. Some possible causes include if the lips are cold or wet, or if there is a deficiency in one of the three water body areas – the mouth, nose, and throat. If these areas are weak or dry, it can make it difficult for water to reach the tissues.

Your chapped lips could be caused by something aside from dry weather. An allergic reaction, yeast infection, or something more serious can make your lips feel dry and uncomfortable. Actinic cheilitis is a precancerous condition that turns one or both lips dry and scaly.

Chapped lips can be caused by deficiencies in certain nutrients, including iron, zinc, and B vitamins. However, environmental factors and other health conditions may also play a role.
