What is the biggest animal on earth
The blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is the largest animal on Earth, both in terms of weight and length. Adult blue whales can reach lengths of up to 100 feet (30 meters) and can weigh as much as 200 tons (180 metric tonnes). Despite their enormous size, blue whales feed on some of the smallest creatures in the ocean – tiny shrimp-like animals called krill.
