How to build up courage to meet someone you like in person?

I wonder why it takes others a bit longer.

Think of it this way, what's the worst that can happen? You can either get a "yes" and that's great or you can get a "no" which is also okay. Our society has built the idea that we must fear rejection like it's the end of the world. Which is further from the truth. Just ask so you know and won't build it up in your head.

Expecting the lesser part is also a good way to avoid pain inside us. Not all of our wish will be given for us to learn dealing rejections. Thanks for this idea buddy.

This is real a struggle and it is can be easily solved. You just have to imagine meeting with that person and the topic you guys will talk about. We can not over come the struggle in real unless we over come in our thought level. So use your imaginations to fight this battle.

Being yourself is extremely important. Just be you. Don't pretend to be someone you are not. If the person is willing to accept you the way you are, then your relationship will be strong. Otherwise, it will break at some point. Don't panic or pressurize yourself. Be calm.

You can get imaginative and prepare to talk on common topics such as foods ,hotels ,school days and so on  before breaking the iceberg . Before doing so the person will have some guess as to where the conversation is headed to.

You'll be in a situation where you "Hope for the best but expect the worst". It is a risk to ask someone to meet in person. First is build a strong bond between your friendship. Show him or her that you are trustworthy and after some few chats and sharing of thoughts then feel free to ask her out for a meet up.
