I have been dealing with this lately and wonder what to do? I love my partner very much and do not want to hurt the person.

You can use kind words to pass on information to your partner. For example you ask politely " sweetheart have you brush you teeth today". Don't make it an argument, if he says yes, you can suggest for him to have a second brush.

Approaching the topic of bad breath with sensitivity is important. You might consider saying something like:

"Hey, I really value our closeness, and I thought it would be best if we could share anything with each other. I've noticed a slight issue with breath at times, and I wanted to mention it because I care about you. It might just be something you ate or a temporary thing, but I thought it was worth mentioning. How do you feel about it?"

Being gentle, non-judgmental, and expressing concern for their feelings can make the conversation more constructive and less uncomfortable.

Try consulting the dentist to find out how you can remove bad breath, when the dentist gives you what to use it do come to your boyfriend and tell him politely then should him what you got that will help him and I believe he will like the fact that you care about him.
