Well, my wife do this:

She eat all in the breakfast, all if she can, all food if she can, maybe 2 tacos or two breads. And the lunch all food than incluide protein, carbohidratics or salads, all depend of the she want. But the part important is the dinner: Here is the important point: cuz she always trie to eat little in the dinner, your body in the night reserve all sugar his eat in the day for the next day, and if you dont have a day of routine, your body reserve this sugar and can be transform in grease and cholesterol, so if you eat in the dinner a good foods, zero sugar, carbohidratics etc.. The other part important of this is you have to play something, or do exercises, because if you dont do exercise your body never lost the greases left in your body.

A healthy eating plan: Emphasizes vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. Includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts. Limits saturated and trans fats, sodium, and added sugars.

Follow a Healthy Eating Plan. A healthy eating plan (like the WebMD Weight Loss Clinic plan) should include foods you enjoy along with plenty of healthy, not-too-processed foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, seafood, beans, and nuts.

An ideal easy diet plan includes balanced meals with whole foods like fruits, veggies, lean proteins, and whole grains, and limits processed foods and sugar. Hydration with water is key. Meal prepping and planning can also make sticking to a diet easier.
