First you need to select the area where you will pour the concrete. After selecting the area you need to place planks or wood to set the boundaries usually square or rectangular. Then slowly pour the concrete until its full.

Build first a concrete slab frame, then remove the frame, but keep the stakes in place and dig at least 4 inches down. Add the gravel and use a hand tamper to compact it. Repeat the procedure until you have a 4-inches gravel bed. The concrete should be mixed according to the packaged instructions. Set the frame in its original location. Then on top of the gravel, pour the mix concrete into the frame. Draw a straight -inch-by-inch board across the concrete to screen the surface. The concrete will be graded and smoothed out using the screening technique. Smooth the concrete with a concrete float once it has lost its gloss. Create a nonslip surface by using a stiff broom, Finish the edges with concrete edger, then spray the pad with a concrete cure and seal product with a garden sprayer. Remove the frame when the concrete has cured.

When you pour your own concrete slab, you're giving yourself a design material that is adaptive to many of your outdoor design needs. One is the best choice is to go with neutrals because some designs always look like too much contrast, and you need to control to not over color. Choosing a neutral color for your decorative concrete can help create a balanced look.

To form and pour a concrete slab, you need to first create a level and compacted base. Then, build a form and reinforce it with rebar. Pour the concrete into the form and smooth it out using a float or trowel. Allow the concrete to cure for several days before removing the form and finishing the edges.

Construct a concrete slab structure first, then take it down while leaving the stakes in the ground and digging at least four inches deep. Add the gravel, then crush it using a hand tamper. Continue the process until the gravel bed is 4 inches deep. In accordance with the directions on the packaging, the concrete should be mixed.
