Will you ask or take back the gift ?

I will not ask or take back the gift, which was given to a person even it was a gold ring. I give more importance to relationship than anything or any gift? Will you ask or secretly take it back?

Some people didn't have the maturity or the basic manner, so they give gift with the mind, that in return they get more costly things. I will not ask the gift that given even it was precious.

I don't expect anything from you if i have given any thing to you before, so even if it a gold ring i won't take it, because that will be termed as trade by barter.

It depends if the person who gave you the gift is not sensitive or offended once you return the gift. Some people are not open-minded and do not understand at times if you need to return a gift. Like if it is a gold ring other will think that it is a form of rejection from you that you returned the ring. That's your point of view on not receiving gifts well that's you and the other party who's giving the gift has their point of view too because that’s their belief. Maybe it's better to meet halfway if truly treasure your relationship. If you're not into gifts just accept it the and keep the gift as a form of remembrance from the person who gave you so that the person won't feel embarrassed and just explain to the person that it doesn't mean that you don't like gifts or that person is not important to you and just explain your side. I hope the person will understand you if that person treasures you.
