In this kind of cas I think you should change your time plan to waking up at 5:30 in order for it not to affect you but in the case where you see it not to be normal see a doctor.
Walking up at 5.30 is almost the same as waking up at 6 , what only you can do is to get out of the bed and just start to prepare for what you plan for ,if you continue sleep for that 30 minutes you may exceed the time you set
You can still wake up, but how quick can you meet up with your appointment or duties should guide you. Your body needs enough rest to enable carry out the task of new day. If your body is deprived of sleep then you become tired during work.
It depends on what you need to do today. If you need to be up and ready to go at 6, then it is best to wake up now. If you don't need to be up until later, then it is best to keep sleeping.
I personally would wake up now so that I can get a head start on the day.
