Wolves have an incredible sense of smell, which helps them detect prey even from quite a distance. On average, a wolf can detect the scent of its prey from up to 1.5 to 2 miles (2.5 to 3 kilometers) away. However, this distance may vary depending on factors such as wind direction and the specific scent being tracked. Wolves have truly impressive olfactory abilities
