The capital city of the Incan Empire was Cusco, located in modern-day Peru. It was considered the most important city in the Inca civilization and was the center of religious, political, and administrative activities. Cusco was known for its impressive architecture, including the famous stone walls of the city and the Temple of the Sun. Despite being conquered by the Spanish in the 16th century, much of the Incan influence can still be seen in modern-day Cusco.
