Latex usually comes from the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis), which is native to South America. The rubber tree produces a milky white substance called latex which is then processed to make natural rubber products.

Latex usually comes from the Hevea brasiliensis tree, also known as the rubber tree. The tree is native to the Amazon rainforest in Brazil but is now commonly cultivated in other countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia. The latex is collected by making small cuts in the bark of the tree and collecting the milky fluid that seeps out.
