The largest species of penguin is the Emperor Penguin, which can grow up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and weigh up to 88 pounds (40 kilograms). They are found in Antarctica and are known for their distinctive black-and-white coloring and their ability to incubate their eggs on their feet. Emperor Penguins are also known for their long journeys to and from their breeding colonies, which can be over 60 miles (100 kilometers) away from their feeding grounds.
