The Temple of Zeus in Olympia, Greece was designed by the sculptor Phidias in the 5th century BC. Phidias was also responsible for creating the famous statue of Zeus that was housed within the temple. Today, the temple ruins and remaining sculptures are considered a Wonder of the World and attract visitors from around the globe.
