The Temple of Zeus in Olympia, Greece, which is now designated as one of the Wonders of the World, was designed by the ancient Greek sculptor Phidias. He is credited with overseeing the construction of the temple, as well as creating the statue of Zeus that was housed within it. The temple was completed in 456BC.
