Animals use camouflage to blend in with their surroundings, making it difficult for predators to spot them. This allows them to avoid being hunted and increase their chances of survival. Camouflage can come in many forms, from changing color to blending in with textures or patterns.

Camouflage, also called cryptic coloration, is a defense or tactic that organisms use to disguise their appearance, usually to blend in with their surroundings. Organisms use camouflage to mask their location, identity, and movement. This allows prey to avoid predators, and for predators to sneak up on prey.

Camouflage means 'cryptic coloration', which is a defense technic used by animals or organisms to disguise their appearance to match the surroundings. It is a common that animals can avoid themselves being eaten up by predators and also prevent themselves from being recognized as potential prey.

There are four types of camouflage that includes- concealing coloration, disruptive coloration, disguise and mimicry. The first one is used by animals to hide against the backgrounds of same color, the second involves marking like- spots and patterns on animal's body, third one is where animals takes on the appearance of something else in its environment and the fourth one is a way for animals to make themselves look like related animals that are more dangerous or otherwise less appealing to predators.

Animals use camouflage to blend in with their environment, making them less visible to predators. This helps them to survive in the wild by making it harder for predators to find and catch them. Camouflage can also be used to hide from prey, allowing animals to get close enough to catch them. Some animals also use camouflage to communicate with other members of their species.
