I have looked all over online for a recipe for black beans on toast.  All of the recipes call for avocado.  I have never had avocados and do not have any avocados.

Also, should I prepare with a toaster or can I prepare with an air fryer?

Do you have any recipes for black beans on toast without avocado?

Thank you!

Yes, here's a simple recipe for black beans on toast without avocado:

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bread slices (toasted)

Instructions:

  1. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the diced onion until it becomes translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add the black beans, cumin powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the pan. Mix well and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  4. While the beans are simmering, toast your bread slices using a toaster or oven.
  5. Once the beans are ready, spoon them over the toasted bread slices.
  6. You can garnish with chopped cilantro, a squeeze of lime juice, or any other toppings of your choice.
As for preparation, you can use a toaster to toast the bread slices. An air fryer might not be necessary for this particular recipe.

Enjoy your black beans on toast!
