Discipline is more important than motivation. You need to be disciplined to finish every task you need to do regardless of how you feel. Motivation is not the cause of your actions, it must be the byproduct of your actions. You don't need to get motivated first to get things done.

Certainly! Here's a unique example of how you can improve your motivation:

Imagine you're a gardener tending to a small, neglected patch of land. The key to improving your motivation is to treat your goals like the plants in your garden. You start by planting the seeds of your ambitions, which are the small, actionable steps towards your larger goals.

Nurture Your Garden of Goals: Just as you'd water and care for your plants, give attention to your goals regularly. Set aside specific times each day or week to work on them. This dedicated time becomes your "gardening" session.

Visualize Your Blooming Success: Picture your goals as vibrant, blooming flowers in your garden. Visualizing the outcome can provide a burst of motivation. The more you see the beautiful garden in your mind, the more you'll be driven to make it a reality.

Weed Out Distractions: Just as you'd remove weeds to allow your plants to thrive, identify and eliminate distractions in your life. Clear away the clutter and focus on what truly matters for your growth.

Celebrate Small Wins: When a plant in your garden first sprouts, it's a small victory. Acknowledge and celebrate your small wins as you progress toward your goals. This positive reinforcement can boost your motivation.

Invite Others to Your Garden: Share your goals with friends or a mentor, just as you'd invite others to admire your garden. This creates a sense of accountability and support, which can keep you motivated.

Experiment with New Seeds: Sometimes, trying out different types of plants can make your garden more exciting. Similarly, be open to experimenting with new goals or approaches. This can inject fresh motivation into your journey.

Adapt to Changing Seasons: Gardens go through seasons, and so do your motivations. There will be times of growth and times of rest. Accept these cycles and adjust your expectations accordingly.

Harvest the Fruits of Your Labor: When your plants yield fruits or flowers, it's a gratifying moment. Similarly, when you reach your goals, savor the sense of accomplishment. It will motivate you to set new goals and continue growing.

By tending to your "garden of goals" in this way, you can nurture your motivation and watch it flourish over time.

I can tell you for a fact that it's only your motivation that can keep you going in life, but sometimes you loose motivation, how do you manage those periods? That's what I'm going to share with you in this answer.

If you have a clear target, and a strong reason why you're doing that exact thing, then you're 50% saved from quitting, but what about the other 50?

It's very simple: Create a daily, weekly timetable and target and be very disciplined that no matter what, you're going to be faithful to it, same way you'll surely eat everyday even if it's a day you have less appetite.

Sometimes, you might not fulfill 100% of your daily time table, but remember, consistency is the key: You can do 20% today 70 tomorrow 45 the next day, just make sure you're faithful.
