One of my best friend's child is having an eczema type disease called atopic dermatitis. The skin on his feet and inner of the ankle are becoming dry and itchy. Due to severe itching sometimes skin is getting severe bruises and even bled. After consulting a dermatologist the child got a prescription which contains antihistamine syrups to intake and a steroid cream to use on the affected part. Is this treatment safe for children? How to get rid of this condition?

In most cases, atopic dermatitis will be disappeared by the age of 4 to 6. In some persons, this may continue longer till the age of 18 to 22 or sometimes life long. In the case of a child, atopic dermatitis will be cured automatically by the time of puberty. Don't use high protein food especially eggs as the body of the person affected will lack in efficient protein synthesis.
