Why Do I Ask????:ermm:

I am an 80's kid :ninja: from South Africa and still not married or anybody asking for my hand:sideways:. Shoooore, the are those who will come with falls intention and saying words they know we want/need to hear:angry:. Don't get me wrong, I am happy single and being a full mom to my baby girl.

I am asking this mostly for her and her pears as well, as she is/they are growing up fast and already saying she does not want to get married at all or have  someone in her life.

Our Elders (alive and the desist) are probably the ones to blame, but I feel at fault too for not letting the past be the past, so I can open up my heart to someone special..... HAD TO SEPARATE THIS TO BE CLEAR8-)

at home I am not seen as a mother or a fully grown women especially at church, reason being, all my friends have been married and some got divorced but "still, I wait"8-).

Growing up, marriage was see as an achievement and important for us all so that we build a stable, healthy and reliable families and a team (polygamy). This was mostly done because our elders did not wish for us to be adulteress and promiscuous nation.

What do you think???

Marriage can indeed bring joy, love, respect, and understanding, and for many people, it provides a sense of security and companionship as they grow older. While reasons for getting married vary from person to person, having a lifelong partner can offer emotional support, stability, and a shared journey through life's ups and downs.

Yes, being married to someone you're automatically given security knowing you have a someone to support and protect you. When two people get married, they start to see that this is forever and that they will never be apart. I think marriage makes you feel younger and cared for, so I don't think married couples think about aging. They will age but feel young in each other's presence. If you get what I mean. They will be so love they won't even realize how much years has past by since their wedding day. Wedded couples give off youth and carefree vibes. So as long as their love grows, they'll still feel young. No matter how many years pass them by.
