The first thing that a person should do is not panic. If you are a panicky person, it is most likely to cause a more dangerous situation or be injured during the incident.

Fires survives with oxygen, fuel and fire sources. First do not panic, avoid using the elevators so as not to be trapped. Use the stair case instead. Always looks out for the nearest exit doors. Do not open door or allow more oxygen during fire outbreaks.

Never open the door that are warm to be touched. If you must escape through the smoke , get low and go under to your exit and close the door behind you to prevent more oxygen from Getting Inside.

Panic: It is essential to remain calm and avoid panicking during a fire emergency. Panic can impair judgment and hinder your ability to make rational decisions. Stay focused and follow the appropriate safety protocols.

Ignore the Fire Alarm: If a fire alarm sounds, do not ignore it or assume it is a false alarm. Take every fire alarm seriously and respond immediately by evacuating the premises or following the established emergency procedures.

Waste Time: Time is critical during a fire emergency. Avoid wasting time by gathering personal belongings or attempting to save material possessions. Your safety and the safety of others should be your primary concern.

Use Elevators: Never use elevators during a fire emergency. Elevators can malfunction or become trapped, putting you at greater risk. Instead, use the stairs to evacuate the building as quickly and safely as possible.
