One can be motivated all alone be meditating on God and reading the scriptures. Praying will also help someone to become motivated spiritually. When you have God by your side then you are really never alone because you have supernatural help.
You can only motivate yourself by setting your goals, congratulating yourself,seeking advice from those who have succeeded and setting achievable targets.
I've been in this situation for so many times. I just think about my capabilities and that everything that is happening to me is part of my adventure whether it is good or bad. I won't feel bad for my inabilities and make it as a stepping stone to be a better person.
