I am going to have to say that patios are easy to maintain if you make them out of concrete and build them just right because concrete you can easily clean by washing it off with water.

The type of patio that is easiest to maintain is one that is made from concrete, brick, or stone. These materials are durable and require minimal maintenance. Additionally, they can be sealed to protect against moisture and staining. Other materials such as wood or composite decking can require more maintenance, such as staining or sealing. Therefore, concrete, brick, and stone are the best choices for an easy-to-maintain patio.

Go for hardwood as they're durable, minimal maintenance and last for years. They also look better than softwood ridged decking, which needs more work as debris accumulates in the grooves.
