Are you afraid of death?

Question

When I was younger I didn't give it a thought as it seemed so far away. Now I am older and have seen many of my friends pass on at various different ages I think about it more. Are you afraid of death?

By getting frightened about death, does it going to make any difference in our lives? I do not think so.

@answerow - not much to mine but it would be huge for my granddaughter as there is no one else to bring her up. This is my biggest fear. @greencrayon - yes I am far more careful with my life choices than I used to be.

Afraid of death? Hell no! I am already equipped with the knowledge that death is an integral part of human being. Everything that has a beginning must surely have an end. In the light of this, since there is day you were born, that means there is also a day meant for you to die. Moreover, death is not an end to human life instead a transition to the world beyond where the human spirit will continue to live for eternity.

Well, all I can say is Death is a Bitter reality of life and we needn't feel afraid of it. It's common to feel scared of it but as we cannot ignore, so the best option would be to enjoy our life and don't give much thought to Death as it will only increase our anxiety levels. I have seen many try to Meditate, Yoga and things like that and these do help a lot and you can feel satisfied after that. In case, you still feel afraid of Death, think about your friends or parents who are no more as nothing is permanent in this world and we need to adjust with all sort of changes that can affect us in any way. No. But I am not in denial either.  I want to and pray to live and living life much longer many, many, many more years on earth. There are so many wonders and miracles to see, learn, understand, and do here on earth.

Yes. Its not because I'am Cowardice. I am protecting my family. I am afraid of losing my family, friends and all well wishers. I am worry about them after my death. So Really afraid of my death.

When growing up, I used to think that it's only the old people who die. But it is not the case. Right now death takes anyone. In those recent years, it would take time or years to hear the demise of someone aand it was so fearful. But now as people are dying every day, death has become a common occurrence. People do not fear it so much as we come across dead bodies almost every time. I do not fear death cause I know it's a passage to heaven.

Honestly, I do not have the fear to die. I had seen how my parents died and saw the beauty of it in a good way. Now, they are in good hands.

Of course yes,am afraid of death and the most painful death is through an accident,fire and water because you feel the pain of your death to the last minute.

Yes, I am afraid of deaths. Like what would happen to me when I am dead? If there’s is evil and dead? or If it’s that we will be back again through reincarnation? Those are just questions that keep bugging in my mind.
