I will just stay away from this person. We can never tell what is running in his or her mind. Better yet, bring him or her to a certified psychiatrist.

Protect yourself psychologically, without falling for the provocations of the paranoid person. Consider that he has a mental illness, do not try to argue with him, because he or she is very fragile and lives outside of reality. If they are aggressive, avoid contact with the paranoid person.

When dealing with a paranoid person, it is important to remain calm and patient. Try to understand their perspective and validate their feelings without agreeing with their beliefs. It can also be helpful to offer reassurance and offer support if they are feeling overwhelmed. It is important to remember that paranoia is a symptom of a mental health issue and that the person may need professional help. Encourage them to seek support from a mental health professional if necessary.

First you have to be willing to separate the person from the disease. If you can achieve that, you will enable yourself to love the person and then manage the disease. It is okay to ask for help, medical, emotional and physical, it is truly something you do not have to take on your own. If the paranoid person becomes violent due to the paranoia you must not feel guilty to put your safety and well-being first.

There are many treatment options for paranoia, the best place to start is with a Dr and follow through with recommendations from there and please remember there is absolutely nothing wrong with medicating paranoia if Dr's prescribe meds. Just as you would take heart and cholesterol meds so should you or anyone else for mental health.
