I am speaking it based on my experience in teaching my niece at homee. I find it more learning happened at home than teaching them at school.

I think it depends on some factors. I work from home so my son could ask help from me when he needs to clarify some of his lessons in school. He also has access to devices and fast internet. He could search for things he doesn't fully understand as well. I would say that for him, remote learning is effective. I've seen some of his classmates struggle. Their parents are out working, so they sometimes call my son for help or chat in their group chat to ask help in assignments. Also, children have different learning curves. Some might do better with face-to-face setup.

Well it depends with where you are based. Thousands in Africa mostly are are a disadvantage due to high internet costs, poor connectivity and even absence of ICT gadgets to use for E-learning. So in essence not much learning was done on this side

It does not apply to all students, especially those who are slow learners. Those students who are at a young age, start to learn, and those who are depending on their siblings or elders' guidance to teach them. Sometimes their elders don't have time to teach them. This is quite hard since some have difficulty studying by themselves for those who are slow learners even those who are already bigger students. Face-to-face learning is still the best that they can interact with their teacher and classmates right away if they have difficulty with their lessons.

If the school is teaching well, then it will be the student dedication, determination and commitment towards their studies would prove if they are learning well.

Yes, studies have shown that students who take online courses are as likely to succeed as students in traditional classrooms. Additionally, distance learning has allowed students to access course material from anywhere and at any time, which has made it more efficient than traditional learning.
