Who is responsible for the kids future?

Did a father or mother have more responsibility towards the kid? If a father didn't  have?

Both parents are more important for the future of a kid.A child who grows being taken care by both responsible parents feels more comfortable, protected and healthier than single parented child.Both parents when alive take greater responsibility to ensure their kid doesn't face more threatening life challenges.

It is the responsibility of both parents to their kid's future. Both or either of them should try their best to provide for their children till they finished school. Although there are some instances that it's only one parent who can provide or due to hardships in life that adult children need to help to work to support part or entire of their schooling to be able to finish it.

Both parents are responsible for the future of their kids. Whatever the child becomes in future, that will be held accountable. If a party doesn't want to look after a child's future, they shouldn't consider marriage at all. Children are also one of the basis of marriage

If parents can't take care of a child aunts and uncles can take take of the responsibility but it's painful at the same time to bring a life into this world and not fully taking the responsibility to provide for their child not only financially but emotionally as well but if there are no extended families then foster care can take care of the child.
