People tend to like doing new things because it helps them to grow and learn new skills or knowledge. New experiences can also be exciting and challenging, offering a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Trying new activities can also help people to gain confidence and become more comfortable with themselves and the world around them. Additionally, doing new things helps people to break out of routines and discover new passions and interests. Finally, taking on new challenges can help to reduce stress and boredom, as well as provide a sense of purpose.

On the other hand, when people try new activities for the first time, they may experience fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. They may also doubt their own abilities, feel overwhelmed, or have difficulty concentrating. Additionally, people may have difficulty with the physical exertion or coordination required for the activity. Finally, trying something new can also require a financial investment, which can be daunting for some.

Because it is simply a matter of curiosity – they want to see what something is like for themselves. Others may enjoy the challenge of learning something new or the feeling of accomplishment that comes with mastering a new skill.
