It is proved that biogas can be compressed, stored in LPG cylinder and made transportable. To make biogas suitable for cooking application it is compressed up to 4 bar after purification, moisture removal and filled in LPG cylinder.

28 cubic metres of biogas is equivalent to one domestic LPG cylinder. Organic waste of 200 kgs can contribute one LPG cylinder daily. 1 cubic metre of gas can generate 1.5 units of electricity.

Compressing biogas into an LPG cylinder typically requires a biogas compressor and a storage tank. The biogas compressor is used to increase the pressure of the biogas, allowing it to be stored in the LPG cylinder. Additionally, the storage tank is used to hold the compressed biogas until it is ready to be transferred to the LPG cylinder. If you are unsure of how to properly compress biogas, you may want to consult a professional for assistance.

Compressing biogas into an LPG cylinder requires specialized equipment such as a compressor. The biogas is first purified and then compressed to a high pressure, similar to LPG. This compressed biogas can then be transferred into an empty LPG cylinder for storage and use.
