LPG simply known as liquefied Petroleum Gas is stored in cylinders for safety purposes, this method of storage has been in place for over 100 years, the cylinder can handle high gas pressure, as a result enabling the gas to eject through a tiny hole for cooking or burning purposes.  The pressure inside the cylinder is usually 320 psi, and it is advisable to keep the cylinders in safe place and avoid heat.

LPG cylinders last a lifetime.

A 45kg gas bottle could last more than a year if LPG is only used for cooking. If LPG is used for cooking and hot water for a family of four, a 45kg gas bottle should last for a couple of months.
