We have to reduce our consommation for water as well as use bottle for placing water when washing our hands or even take a shower because by this method we consume less and preserve as maximum the water.
Water can be preserved by storing them in containers, tanks and dams, dams are done by the government of that particular country, because water is very important.
There are many ways to preserve water it determines on how the situation might look like if very scarce we use the water from the things we wash but if in a normal situation we put in refrigerators and boiling it.
The best way is not to waste water in any situations, especially if not needed. Perhaps the local government agencies conduct certain activities that can save wate resources like tree planting, cleaning the sea bodies, etc.
Boiling is a great way to kill bacteria, viruses, and parasites from water. Fill a pot with water and heat it over medium-high heat, or over a fire. Bring the water to a boil and let it sit at a rolling boil for about 10 minutes.
