They have to manage their childrenand give good advice to them. If talking about decision parents should give suggestion to their children. But at the in the end of the day parents should let their children to chose what is their decision.

I think parents can give advice to their children up to a certain age like 18 years I believe at that age you are now an adult and can do or choice your own choices but where necessary parents can still step in and give advice like marriage I believe marriage is no easy job.
