As we know that UK people think that alone magpie bring bad luck in life. Sice it is their tradition we cann't say any think to it. Accordiing to  me they will kill the bird(magpie) when they see it. 

It is very bad to kill the birds because of the unwanted traditional.

I did not know that they need to be killed by the people. I read an article that the locals usually greet the magpie politely when seeing one be prevented from having bad luck.
