It is not uncommon for people to be swayed by the words of those who are perceived as being influential or having a high status. This can be especially true when the person speaking is in a position of authority, such as government official. It is possible that people may blindly believe what they are told in these cases because they trust the person is telling truth and has their best interest at heart.

People can be more willing to believe a liar if there is something in it for them, or if the lie sounds believable. People can also be influenced by outside factors and be more willing to believe the person telling the lie if it confirms what they already believe, or if others around them believe it as well.

Some liars are sending their proof for it to be believable. Liars felt good once someone believe in them. We tend to believe in them because of the evidence and the way of how did they explain that lie.

It's because of the existence of faith, a human commodity that defies the need for evidence. Some people believe the liars to protect the liars or protect someone from punishment. Nah, just my thought but some people chose to believe whatever they wanted to believe due to some relationship that's going on between them.
